Radio/tuner question... (554 views)
Message: Matthew,

Does your car have a seperate radio/tuner box in the trunk? I thought that the headunit was just a controller and that the actual radio/tuner was in the trunk but I took my Amp out last night and could not find any sperate box.

My car is an 03 do you think that they changed the system on the newer models so that the actual radio/tuner functions are built in to the headunit and there is no seperate box?

I guess it doesnt really matter as long as I pick up the signal right before it goes into the factory amp, right?

Thanks
