Thanks for the education- yes, I used line level

converters, may try to bypass those and allow the amps to do the line level converting. My buddy wasn't too impressed w/ the PCI converters I purchased, thought that it would have been better to externally lower the line signal given all the comments from the JL guys talking about the signal being too strong and my LL converter is just a 12db reduction. I'll let you know how this pans out.
