Message: Is there anything untraditional about the M3 starter? With ignition
on, you should be able to jump the solenoid terminals with a big
screwdriver.
We just acquired an '03 with 69k miles. The starter does not
engage immediately, it lags 1/2 second. Otherwise the thing is
a rocket.
