| Message: | I am pretty sure that your problem is heat related. I am down here in Phoenix and found that, on several occasions, the SMG unit would over heat while out on the track. I actually had the car drop into neutral in the middle of a turn out on the track. That was a fun experience. Mainly, when I would pull the car back into the pits, if I tried to move it within a couple of minutes the car would not go into gear. It would just flash '0' and the SMG light would come on. I found that it needed time to cool down, especially in the summer. Sometimes I would pop the trunk and unplug the battery. Wait a couple minutes and then plug it back in again and everything would work fine. I never brought it into the dealership because I couldn't reproduce the problem. The stange part, for you, is that when I lived in Regina I don't remember the summers getting that hot. So, it is a little concerning that the unit is overheating. Was it an unusually hot day?
